At SWOON we try to size our dresses to British shop sizes as far as possible but it's important to remember that bridal gowns are usually sized smaller than regular High Street sizes. We try to measure our gowns as they come into us and below is a rough guide to our gown sizes at SWOON. Remember that the corset style dresses often fit more than one size due to the way they fasten,so if you see something you really like but it is not listed as being your size there may be a good chance it will fit,so don't rule it out!Corset styled dresses usually fit both a size up and down from what they are sized at. For example a size 12 in this style will usually also fit a size 10 and a size 14.
It is also worth remembering that each individual designer sizes their dresses slightly differently so what you may fit into as a size 12 from one designer may well not fit you in the same size from a different design house.You may also need to  vary the sizes depending on the cut of the gown itself.
The majority of our dresses are long enough for everyone -but we do have a few that are only suitable for ladies under 5'2" but if this is the case we  will always list this on the details of the dress.
