SWOON is the creation of a dream.The idea of spending thousands of pounds on a dress you will only wear for half a day has always baffled me although when it came to choosing my own dress I wanted a lovely dress,as most brides do.Personal experiences of poor customer care and also the prohibitive prices when I was looking for a wedding  dress, left me feeling I should address this.From these ideas Swoon was created.
The name  came about via an impromptu brain storming one summer's evening with friends and SWOON,which is an archaic English word meaning 'to faint ....with ecstatic joy ....' seemed perfect, as our gowns are all stunning and our prices are extremely competitive.
What began as a once worn dress business has quickly altered as we now have many new dresses as well, but they all sell at a fraction of their original retail cost.This means that all brides  have the opportunity to own a dress of their dreams on their special day,irrespective of their budget.We try to ensure that only the best 'Once Worns' comes to us,those with missing beads or damaged hemlines do not get through to our stock.At SWOON we often say,if you don't tell anyone how much your dress cost then they will never know!And with dresses at  SWOON selling for less than half their original value,who WOULD ever know!So let someone else pay thousands of pounds for a dress they will wear for no more than 8 hours,then check out our stock and pick the same dress up for less than half price!
